Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Codka Shacabka, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account, so keep your password safe and let us know if you suspect unauthorised use.

Codka Shacabka is for genuine civic engagement. You agree not to:

• Post unlawful content, or anything that harasses, threatens, or incites violence against others.
• Impersonate a person or organisation, or misrepresent who you are.
• Post spam, or manipulate signatures, responses, or reports.
• Violate other people's privacy or rights, or attempt to unmask anonymous responses.
• Interfere with, misuse, or attempt to break the security of the service.

Petitions gather public support and become public once they reach the signature threshold. Consultations are run by verified government accounts, and responses to them are private (see the Privacy Policy). Reporting is for genuine concerns, please don’t misuse it to silence others.

Verification confirms the identity of organisations, government offices, and public figures, and grants a badge and additional tools. Misrepresenting your identity, or misusing verified tools, may lead to your verified status being revoked and content being removed.

We may review, hide, or remove content that breaks these terms. A petition that reaches the report threshold is hidden automatically while it’s reviewed. Decisions about content and verification are made by administrators, and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly break the rules.

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting it, you grant us the permission needed to store, display, and operate it within the service, for example, showing your public petition to others.

Codka Shacabka is provided during beta on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable or reset as we develop it. We’ll do our best to keep it running smoothly.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the service means you accept the updated terms.
